Whitecourt Central School is a member of the Whitecourt and Surrounding Area Violent Threat Risk Assessment (VTRA) Community Protocol. A requirement of the program is to provide fair notice to community members of the protocol. Attached is a brochure that provides fair notice on the protocol and provides information the process of risk assessment.
Each threat assessment team is multi-agency. The team may include school staff, psychologists, police, child intervention staff, community addiction and mental health staff, hospitals, probation /parole and other professionals.
