Mrs. Megan Cote
Assistant Principal
My name is Megan Cote and I am the Assistant Principal at Whitecourt Central School. I grew up in Bloomfield, Newfoundland, and have lived in Whitecourt for the last 18 years. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Alberta, and a Masters in Education from Memorial University of Newfoundland. This will be my 12th year as an educator at Northern Gateway Public Schools and my first year at Whitecourt Central School.
When I am not at school you can find me with my family and friends camping, travelling, on the golf course, or at a rink somewhere watching my son, the Wolverines or the Oilers! I am grateful for the opportunity to work with Facility Dog, Sage, and bring her to school with me every day. I have a true passion for inclusive education! All students deserve to learn in a safe and caring environment that nurtures their needs and meets them developmentally where they are.
I am thrilled to be an Eagle and join the dedicated professionals on the WCS team!
