Hola, my name is Martha Bourassa. I have lived in Whitecourt for 28 years. I have been working as EA for ten years, this will be my second year as an EA at Northern Gateway Public Schools.
I was born in the city of Valledupar, Cesar Colombia. I have been married to my husband Allen for 27 years and we have 3 kids, Crystal, Gretchen and Ronnie. We also have 3 beautiful granddaughters and we are expecting our first grandson in December.
I am NOT a winter person, I love summer. I love to travel, go to the movies, dance, and spend quality time with friends and family. I especially love playing with my granddaughters.
I love to be involved in the community and I love my job! I love working with children. I think a child will teach us more than we will ever teach them. I believe a child is like a butterfly in the wind, some can fly higher than others, but each one flies the best it can. Each one is different, each one is special, each one is beautiful, and each one is a gift.
